Footsteps is a product of PassageLab LLC. References to "Footsteps," "we," "us," or "our" in these Terms refer to PassageLab LLC and its Footsteps application.
Footsteps began as a personal project by Matt Blair to share the stories of the Bible with his daughter, and is now offered freely to families everywhere.

By creating an account or accessing Footsteps, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
If you are creating an account on behalf of a child or children, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of those children and that you have authority to consent on their behalf.
Footsteps accounts must be created and managed by adults (18 years of age or older). Children do not create their own accounts. Instead, a parent or guardian creates a parent account and may then create child profiles linked to that account.
By creating a child profile, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child and that you consent to our collection and use of limited data associated with that child's reading progress, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may browse a selection of stories without an account. To save reading progress, create child profiles, or unlock the full library for your family, you must create a free account with a valid email address and password.
Parent accounts may create up to 6 child profiles. Each child profile tracks reading progress independently. Child profiles are associated with your parent account and are managed by you.
Your Footsteps account is licensed for household use. We allow up to 4 simultaneous active sessions per account to accommodate families with multiple children reading at the same time. Sharing your account credentials with individuals outside your household is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Footsteps is free to use. Thanks to the generosity that makes this project possible, the entire story library is available to you and your family at no cost — there is no subscription, and no payment is ever required.
You can create an account, add child profiles, and read the full library without entering any payment information. Because Footsteps is provided free of charge, there are no charges, billing cycles, or refunds.
New stories are added to the library over time and are included for everyone at no additional charge.
All stories, devotional content, quiz questions, audio recordings, illustrations, and other materials within Footsteps are the intellectual property of PassageLab LLC unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Footsteps content without our written permission.
Scripture quotations and references are used for educational and devotional purposes. Individual Bible translations are the property of their respective copyright holders.
Your personal account data (reading progress, child profiles) belongs to you. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Footsteps is designed to be used by children under the direct supervision and with the express consent of their parent or guardian. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create their own accounts or to provide personal information directly.
Child profiles are created by parents. The data associated with child profiles (reading progress, badge history) is linked to the parent's account. Parents may delete any child profile, along with all of its reading progress and badge history, at any time from their Account page.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at info@biblefootsteps.com and we will promptly remove that information.

Footsteps is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PassageLab LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Because Footsteps is provided to you free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Footsteps shall not exceed fifty U.S. dollars (US $50).
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of Footsteps after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tulsa County, Oklahoma.
